Manufacturer Declaration
The HENGSTLER/KACO safety relay series H-462, -464, -466, -468, -470, -472, -473, -480, K-ROS, all FGR Safety DIN-Rail Boards, and Interfaces that are equipped with Hengstler and/or Kaco safety relays are compliant with IEC/EN low voltage directives for CE, EN 61810-3:2015, EN 61810-7:2006, EN 61810-1:2015 + AC1:2017 + AC2:2018.
All Hengstler and Kaco Safety Relays (relays with Force Guided contact sets), based on their special design and features, have pre-deterministic fail-safe behavior. They are suitable for use in safety controls that are compliant with Safety Category 4 of the IEC/EN machine directives and all elevators and railroad Safety and Signaling related applications according to the UIC 736e and VDE 0831 standards.
In addition to the cULus, CSA, and other third agency approvals, all these relays have obtained the TÜV Rheinland approval as Class A Force Guided Relays according to the Safety Standard IEC/EN 50205, EC 61810-1 UL 508.
Furthermore, the Hengstler Safety Relays Series H-462, -464, -466 have also been approved and used in heavy duty railroad safety and signaling systems by the German, Danish, and Hungarian Railroad Associations and are accordingly used in many other railroad safety applications in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
